Raising awareness of child safety

Brothers Leagues Club donated $1,720.48 to The Daniel Morcombe Foundation during our fundraiser on November 25^th, 2011.

Brothers promoted The Daniel Morcombe Foundation and its mission by distributing educational DVD’s supplied by the foundation whilst staff, wearing the red Daniel Morcombe Foundation T-shirts, encouraged donations via collection tins.

Brothers Leagues Club participates in many community orientated activities and being a family orientated club, we host free kids activities all year around. Furthermore, our junior rugby league team sees over 500 kids sign up to play each year.

We are therefore very passionate about children’s safety and support the work Bruce and Denise Morcombe are doing through The Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

It was great to see the enthusiasm of staff who not only helped raise these funds, but also raise awareness of this invaluable cause.
